In this month's episode, the cold winds blow fierce across the wintery wilds of Minnesota and hosts Rhuby 'n' Hater welcome another new addition to the 'verse, Tyler Haines (Agar in "Demon with the Atomic Brain"), to the podcast basement. Amanda R. Tietz (Dr. Adams) was also on hand to keep the Mitch Gonzales Memorial Candle lit and writer/director Christopher R. Mihm was there to share the latest rendition of "Twas the Night Before Kaismas!"

Continue the Mihmiverse tradition by adding some retro-monster-cheer to your holiday decorations with the second annual Mihmverse holiday ornaments—and this year there are two of them!
The first exclusive holiday ornament is fan-favorite Steve from "Danny Johnson Saves The World!" Designed as a "companion piece" to last year's "The Monster of Phantom Lake" ornament, this limited-edition collectible is lovingly hand-crafted by members of the Mihm family.
The SECOND exclusive holiday ornament was created to celebrate the 12th Mihmiverse film in 12 years, "Demon with the Atomic Brain," and is sculpted, molded and hand-painted by Mihmiverse Master Monster Maker Mitch Gonzales.
All ornaments will be individually numbered and include the year. We highly recommend ordering NOW to ensure shipment in time for the holidays...AND to make sure you get one, because once they're sold out...no more will be made—EVER!
To order your Mihmiverse holiday ornaments, click HERE to be taken to the collectibles section of the merchandise page!
The temperature in the upper Midwest has dropped below freezing and, despite all the talk of a "Winter Survivor" episode, hosts Rhuby 'n' Hater decided to bring the "festivities" back into the basement.
By the soothing light of the Mitchell A. Gonzales Memorial Candle, the podcast crew (including writer/director Christopher R. Mihm) was joined by the "Brides of Iordanoglou:" Stephanie Mihm, Michelle Makie and Catherine Hansen. Conversation topics include the making of "Demon with the Atomic Brain," the Rock Monsters (the official curling team of the Mihmiverse), "Saved By The Bell," and what it was REALLY like to audition for a Mihmiverse film!
Everyone who contributes to the next Mihmiverse film ("Guns of the Apocalypse") before Wednesday, November 15th at 11:59PM CST will receive an additional FREE DVD of any other Mihmiverse film of their choice!
Click HERE to contributeNOW! We will contact you directly afterwards to work out which film to send you!

Disaster strikes! Despite burn restrictions and eminent sickness, podcast host Rhuby managed to single-handedly produce a highly-entertaining episode. And, though not being released precisely on the "15th-ish," it still comes "skidding in" before the end of October!
In this episode, you'll hear our intrepid host as she sorts through and takes in a whole cadre of things that have been squirreled away during the previous 72 episodes of the show. She catches up with the "goings on" of some absent friends, brings in a special edition of "Peter Flynn's Corner" and a special item for Michael "The Monster" Kaiser (bom-bom). She even fits in a few important things for writer/director Christopher R. Mihm to take note of!
We're a week past the "Demon with the Atomic Brain" premiere and the latest film has been thrilling Mihmivites old and new with its mix of action, adventure, humor and scares! Critical reception has been almost universally positive with many hailing it as the best Mihmiverse film yet!
In honor of the release of the film, we have finally made a "Demon with the Atomic Brain" lobby card set available! Mihmiverse lobby cards are produced in VERY limited quantities and, with writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's favorite print shop having gone out of business on October 1st, we don't anticipate any NEW sets after this one. Therefore, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND picking up these unique collectibles while they're still available!
Personally designed by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm, lobby cards are sold in sets of eight 8.5" x 11" cards. Each card depicts a different scene from its respective film and are hand-colorized and stylistically "weathered" to look extra retro!
In other cool news, to celebrate the 12th Mihmiverse film in 12 years, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has created a 12-month, full-sized Mihmiverse 2018 wall calendar with each month containing a different lobby card image from each of the 12 Mihmiverse films! This calendar will be released in EXTREMELY limited quantities (less than 100 will be produced) and, once they're gone, they're gone forever!
In honor of last night's wildly successful premiere of "Demon with the Atomic Brain," the best classic-monster-themed podcast on the planet, Monster Kid Radio, just released an episode dedicated solely to the films of the Mihmiverse!
In this very thorough and entertaining episode, host Derek M. Koch is joined by Mihmiverse super fan Steven Turek to journey through the movies. Derek met MKR listener Steven at Monster Bash, so they catch up for a moment before diving into their discussion. Afterward, you'll hear from three Monster Kid Radio regulars—Rich Chamberlain, Jeff Owens, and Stephen D. Sullivan—who attended the premiere and got together afterward to share their thoughts on the film with Monster Kid Radio.
Even if you're only a casual fan of the films of Christopher R. Mihm, we highly recommend listening to the entire episode, even if just to hear what Derek and Steven thought of each film! To listen to the episode, click HERE!
Also, we wanted to share this very cool photo taken before the doors opened at the "Demon with the Atomic Brain" world premiere!
Lastly, we want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all the people who came out to the event last night and made it such an amazing experience for everyone!
Doors to the world premiere of what promises to be the BEST Mihmiverse film EVER open at 6:30PM this evening at the historic Heights Theater in Columbia Heights, MN!
In addition to the main attraction, attendees will enjoy a program complete with hand-picked, era-appropriate newsreels, classic trailers, appearances by most of the cast and crew, autographs, photo opportunities with creatures from the film, a silent auction and more! DVDs, posters and other exclusive merchandise will also be on sale!
IMPORTANT: Tickets WILL be available at the door! If you didn't pre-order advance tickets but are planning on going, get there early to make sure you can snag one of the remaining seats! DO NOT MISS OUT! Doors open at 6:30PM sharp and the movie starts at 7:30!
In this issue, you'll find important information about the upcoming "Demon with the Atomic Brain" world premiere, pressing Mihmiverse-related news, another classic movie of the month (1961's "Gorgo"), The Trivia Corner with Mike Cook, Important Moments in Science with Dr. Bob Tesla and much, much more!
Also, the latest episode of the Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is here! The Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is a podcast hosted by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm that focuses specifically on what's going on RIGHT NOW in the Mihmiverse.

Also included: "The Kansas City Crypt" with Monster Movie Kid Rich Chamberlain, another "bad" joke from Dr. Bob Tesla of Midnight Monster Movies with Dr. Bob and chapter seven of "For Your Ice Only," writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ongoing 1960s-set serial starring international spy and world champion curler, Beef McCormick!

RUN, don't walk (metaphorically speaking), to monsterkidradio.net, home of Monster Kid Radio, the BEST classic-monster-movie-related podcast currently online, and check out their latest episode, which features a lengthy and entertaining interview with writer/director Christopher R. Mihm! The main topic of the Mihmiverse-related segment is the soon-to-be-released "Demon with the Atomic Brain" but, the discussion goes much deeper into the Mihmiverse as a whole and should be of intense interest to every self-respecting Mihmivite!
ALSO, Collecting Classic Monsters, the digital clubhouse for Monster Kids & collectors of classic monster, retro science fiction and vintage fantasy memorabilia, published an article today about the Mihmiverse and the upcoming "Demon with the Atomic Brain" premiere. We highly recommend checking it out!
The last episode of the Mihmiverse Bonfire Podcast before the release of the next Mihmiverse film has arrived!
There are only two weeks before "Demon with the Atomic Brain" is unleashed upon the world, so Mihmiverse Bonfire Podcast hosts Rhuby 'n' Hater have begun the big year-long push for the new film by inviting Amanda R. Tietz to the bonfire's edge to spill as much as she can (no spoilers!) about the movie. In addition, she recounts her initial Mihmiverse experiences as the first person to play Stephanie Yates in "The Monster of Phantom Lake: The Musical!" (Exclamation point!)
Writer/director Christopher R. Mihm was also in attendance and executive producer (and actor) Tim Meinke was on hand to keep the fire a-blazin' and tell his own Mihmiverse stories!
We received word that the print shop we've used for over five years is going out of business at the end of the month. Because of this, we are going to be doing some last minute print jobs and then will discontinue some items. This particularly affects lobby card sets.
With the addition of a set for "House of Ghosts" and a set for "Demon with the Atomic Brain" (to-be-released on the day the film is), every Mihmiverse film now has an associated lobby card set. All were printed in limited numbers and, when we sold out of a particular title, it was "retired."
Since we REALISTICALLY only have ONE WEEK to get these reprinted, we have made ALL LOBBY CARD SETS available again—but ONLY for the next five days! If you've EVER wanted to order any of the Mihmiverse lobby card sets, this is LITERALLY your last chance EVER.
Click HERE to order them NOW or, we kid you not, you will NEVER get them.
The article focuses on lead actress, Amanda R. Tietz, and her role as Dr. Adams (Mrs. Tietz lives in the newspaper's area of coverage). In addition to giving further information about the film, it gives some great insight into the hero of the new film!
The DVD is in the hands of the manufacturer! A rare Monsters of the Mihmiverse trading card, posters, contributor certificates, individually-numbered collector's tickets, and "Demon with the Atomic Brain" lobby cards are being printed THIS WEEK! Trailers and newsreels are being selected! The cast and crew are picking out their fancy outfits! Silent auction items are being collected! Every preparation needed to make this THE BEST Mihmiverse premiere to date is being made! The only thing missing is YOU...and you are running out of time!
Buy your advance ticketsNOW or risk missing out on a moment in Mihmiverse history that will never come again! Click HERE to nab your tickets before it's too late! AND, remember, if the event sells out in advance, there will be NO tickets at the door! Don't be "that guy!" GO!
In this issue, you'll find important information about the upcoming "Demon with the Atomic Brain" world premiere, pressing Mihmiverse-related news, another classic movie of the month (1959's "4D Man"), The Trivia Corner with Mike Cook, Important Moments in Science with Dr. Bob Tesla and much, much more!
Also, the September episode of the Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is here! The Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is a podcast hosted by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm that focuses specifically on what's going on RIGHT NOW in the Mihmiverse.
This month, host writer/director Christopher R. Mihm tells the audience what he REALLY thinks of "Demon with the Atomic Brain," discusses why YOU should come to the world premiere, and what to do if you CAN'T!
Also included: "The Creature Connection" with Derek M. Koch of Monster Kid Radio, "The Kansas City Crypt," featuring Monster Movie Kid Rich Chamberlain paying tribute to late director Tobe Hooper and his contributions to the horror genre, another "bad" joke from Dr. Bob Tesla of Midnight Monster Movies with Dr. Bob and chapter six of "For Your Ice Only," writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ongoing 1960s-set serial starring international spy and world champion curler, Beef McCormick!

Due to the forthcoming holiday weekend AND the crunch to get everything ready for the release of "Demon with the Atomic Brain," the September Mihmiverse Monthly newsletter and accompanying audiocast will be released next Tuesday (the day AFTER Labor Day)!
DON'T FORGET!Advance tickets to the October 4th world premiere are NOW AVAILABLE and selling VERY quickly! On top of that, premiere tickets were a premium item for all contributors so, by the time tickets went on sale to the general public, more than a quarter of all seats in the Heights Theater had already been claimed. Add on to THAT the cast and crew are given free tickets to the event and you have a recipe for stragglers being unable to attend!
Visit the events section of the merchandise page NOW to grab your tickets before it's too late!
With only two months before the world premiere of "Demon with the Atomic Brain," Mihmiverse Bonfire Podcast hosts Rhuby 'n' Hater wrap up their "year of the Weresquito" by welcoming Mihmiverse master monster maker Mitch Gonzales to the fireside.
Writer/director Christopher R. Mihm joined in on the lengthy and oh-so-entertaining discussion where topics ranged from Mitch's humble beginnings in the 'verse to his heavy involvement in the forthcoming film.
The final poster design for the next great Mihmiverse film has arrived!
Under the gaze of a pretty foreboding eyeball and a tag line proclaiming "This is how the universe ends!," the "Demon with the Atomic Brain" poster was created by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm (with input from Mihmiverse Master Monster Maker Mitch Gonzales and the first lady of the Mihmiverse, Stephanie Mihm). The poster will be available SOON for purchase in our online store!
Tickets have been on sale for less than a week and the theater is already over a quarter sold out! If you plan on attending this amazing event, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing advance ticketsNOW!
Remember, almost every Mihmiverse premiere since 2010 has sold out and, if the event sells out in advance, there will be NO TICKETS available at the door! Don't be left out in the cold!
In this issue, you'll find the latest Mihmiverse-related news, another classic movie of the month (1959's "The Alligator People"), The Trivia Corner with Mike Cook, Important Moments in Science with Dr. Bob Tesla and much, much more!
Also, the newest episode of the Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is here! The Mihmiverse Monthly Audiocast is a podcast hosted by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm that focuses specifically on what's going on RIGHT NOW in the Mihmiverse.
Also included: "The Kansas City Crypt," featuring Monster Movie Kid Rich Chamberlain paying tribute to late director George Romero and his seminal film "Night of the Living Dead", another "bad" joke from Dr. Bob Tesla of Midnight Monster Movies with Dr. Bob and chapter five of "For Your Ice Only," writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ongoing 1960s-set serial starring international spy and world champion curler, Beef McCormick!

It is with much excitement that we can FINALLY announce that after the overwhelming success of the musical theater adaptation of "The Monster of Phantom Lake," writer/director Christopher R. Mihm and composer/lyricist Adam Boll have banded together once again to turn another beloved Mihmiverse film into a stage musical...and this time you'll believe a giant spider can sing in "The Giant Spider: The Musical!"
Mr. Boll has already completed a handful of songs, including one to be performed BY THE SPIDER, and from the samples we've heard, we can happily report they're just as catchy as the ones featured in "The Monster of Phantom Lake: The Musical!"
In the meantime, Mr. Mihm is hard at work on the script and being forced to get creative to overcome the challenges of translating such a special-effects-heavy film to the stage. Should everything work out JUST RIGHT, the pair hope to debut the show sometime in 2018!
Stay tuned...
