Terror From Beneath the Earth

The mind of writer/director Christopher Mihm must be a fun place to live. This local filmophile has been creating "1950s-Drive-in-B-movie-B&W homages" for years, and tonight his latest endeavor, "Terror from Beneath the Earth," debuts on the big screen at the Heights Theater. During the exploration of the Wisawa caves, Dr. Vincent Edward (Mike Cook) and Rosemary Bennett (Stephanie Mihm) discover evidence that the town's missing children may be somewhere in the cave. After recruiting the sheriff and the children's father, the group embarks upon an underground adventure to rescue the children, running into plenty of goofy perils and a radiation-mutated monster along the way. Pure cheesy goodness! Get there early to enjoy live Wurlitzer organ music, and stick around after for free cake and a meet and greet with the cast immediately following the screening.

Doors at 6:30, Film at 7:30 p.m., Heights Theater, $5 adv tickets available HERE or at the door.
